Desert Ecology Tours
Experience the desert
first-hand! Our knowledgeable guides will lead you through the plants, animals,
and history that make the Sonoran Desert unique. On the way you will learn about
the life of the giant saguaro cactus, visit a thousand year old Hohokam
occupation site, and see desert wildlife.
Desert Ecology Tours can be
scheduled for any time of day. Evening tours provide a great opportunity to
enjoy sunset in the desert.

occupation site, and see bountiful desert wildlife. Our guides will even bring
along a critter or two!
Desert Rally
For groups eager for a more
challenging outing, a Trail Dust Desert Rally is the perfect adventure! Our
rallies feature friendly competition for an ideal team-building event in a
setting that is second to none! For our business and conference guests this is
an ideal way to spend a morning or afternoon away from the conference room. We
offer mini-rallies, rallies, and extended team-building rallies to suit any
organization's needs.
On a Trail Dust Desert Rally, each Jeep forms a team to navigate the trail,
answer desert trivia questions, find fool's gold and other artifacts, and
compete in such events as archery, roping, and horseshoe pitching, while
attempting to keep to an average time and find the trail boss at the finish
line.
As with all of our
programs, rallies can be custom-designed to your specifications. We are
delighted to add rally questions specific to your group, and to develop new and
exciting rally events to suit your group.
Dining in the Desert
What better way to top off
a tour or rally or to make your special event unique than to enjoy a Dinner in
the Desert? Trail Dust Adventures has breakfast, lunch, appetizer and dinner
programs to fit any occasion. Be it hot dogs grilled on an open fire or a
five-course dinner, checkered tablecloths or white linen, a Trail Dust Desert
Dinner is a meal to remember.
Our exclusive, private dinner site overlooks the Tucson valley from a
spectacular promontory sitting almost 1,000 feet above the city in the Rincon
Mountains. Guests enjoy watching the sunset and city lights, strolling on our
hiking trails, or just relaxing around the campfire on this beautiful spot
nestled among the peaks of the mountain range.
For breakfast and lunch programs, we offer a delightful, park-like site shaded
by mature native trees in the western foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, or Rincon Mountains.
Cattle Drives
Experience the real West
with an exciting Cattle Drive. Saddle up and take a ride, driving a herd of
range cattle across the open range of the Sonoran Desert. Trail Dust Adventures
provides transportation to and from the ranch, and Jeep tours and other
activities for those non-horsey members of the group.
All tours depart from your
hotel or the location of your choice in Tucson.
Our trails are just a short drive from most
resorts.
